Our other two daughters also tried the treadmill....since their big sister did it you know they had to try it as well! Here is the Sophmeister workin' it out!

We never let Paige or Soph try the treadmill but we were feeling nice that day I guess. Paige was overjoyed that she got to do a "grown-up" activity.

Training Day

Emma wanted to use the treadmill today. She's been asking for a while but we always put her off. Well, she ran for 16 minutes and covered 6/10ths of a mile. Nice!

Friday was Em's first school field trip to the zoo. I was a chaperone and followed in my car. Grandma Bobbie, Soph and Pie came along too but I wasn't allowed to watch them, I had to keep my eyes and ears on my group! We all had a great time. It was the Central Florida Zoo, a zoo we had not been to before. It's not much compared to the DC zoo, but at least the animals are close and you can see them.

This is Em loading up on the school bus. That's her peeking over the seat.

Gigi, Em, Samantha, Erica and Jenifer. I had 3 girls and Gigi's mom had the other 2. We roamed together cause Gigi, Em and Samantha are all nice and get along.

We ate lunch as soon as we got there, at 1015. Then we had about 1.5hrs to look around the zoo. That's Laura, Gigi's mom.

Big fake dino. I asked the girls to pretend it was chasing them. Em would not participate, but Samantha did a great job!

In the butterfly garden.
Emu.

Horned-nosed something or other.

Zebu.

Billy Goat and Gigi.

Can't get enough billy goat.
Siamang.

Cougar! RRREEEEEow!

Elephant.

Had no idea that quills were that long!

Spider monkey.

Busy Saturday

We had a nice little Saturday planned... The girls both had soccer games at 9:00 and right after that it was straight to the School Fair at Read-Pattillo, where Melissa does most of her substitute teaching.

Then we went to Sam's and bought up a bunch of junk we didn't need like dog food, cat litter and cleaning products. Wasted money!

Paige looks little disgruntled here. Must be looking for some support from her back line.

Em was the best player on her team in her game. Here she is showing why. Eyes up! They played a really good team with a coach that knew soccer. Em's opponents even played positions and actually passed, which is the first time we've played a team with that level of skill. So she wasn't able to break through the defense and score, but she did have some great runs!

Paige looking less disgruntled and more crazy. Mugging for the camera as we walked in to the School Fair.

The NSB Firefighters were there, and each of the girls got to spray the fire hose.

Sophie raked in the prize tokens by standing right on top of the bag toss board and throwing the bean bags through.

YEAH! After some minor gliches, my hammock is up and rockin'! Soph took a nap today, she actually asked for one, she was so tired...so I took the opportunity to lay in the hammock for a bit before racing off to soccer practice. After Em and Paige tried their best to shake me out of it, I was finally able to doze off for 20 minutes! It was sooooo comfortable, just the right amount of shade with a sweet breeze (as always).

Me playing peek-a-boo.

Paige at my feet. Actually, those are Em's feet pictured, but mine are under there somewhere!

Em, wired as always, after a long day of school. And my giant freckled knee.

Paige brought me some "cooling utensils." (a gigantic pothos leaf).

Paige also ran inside and got me my neck pillow! Good Niz Ight!

I subbed for the fifth grade classes today(at Jen's school). I covered all 3 classes at various times throughout the day. Some fifth graders don't like me, some don't pay attention to me....but some LOVE me! I get beautiful artwork nearly everytime I sub, I thought it was about time I put some up. This one I got today from a girl named Powder.

I know it has been a while since I posted. I just cannot find the time. I will be glad when school is over and my days will be carefree, for 2 months anyway!
Anyway, I checked on Soph last night and fat black was all snuggled with her looking so cute. I raced to find the camera before she moved! Best of all, Soph lived thru the night, proving that cats do NOT steal breath away!

This pic on the other hand is a little creepy. After checking on Soph, I checked on the older ones and nearly had a heart attack! Here is Paige, sleeping sitting up, crossed-legged in a chair! She had the weirdest expression on her face. I just showed her this pic and she doesn't even remember going over to the chair!
This is a pic for Unkle Beggy. I am so glad we bought this shirt since the ride closed down and there won't be anymore T-Shirt store!

C is for carrot. Paige was cracking me up eating her carrot in her sunglass.

Saturday, tomorrow, I take my Physical Education k-12 test. As before, those of you who pray, GET TO IT! I feel much more knowledgeable with this test than I do with the Elementary Ed test so I'm blogging now, instead of studying! I start at 830am so be thinking of me!

I'm Ready Dr. J!

Mike went out last night and got the basketball hoop (a present from my dad). He set it up tonight and we took a couple of shots. I was too tired to play much cause I had just cut the grass! But I took a couple of shots to show yall how its done....
Don't be jealous SHAQ! This is a perfect free throw position. JEESH! I have on THE most unflattering shorts now that I'm looking at the pic! Pay no attention to the ass behind the ball...

Also, I can totally shoot hooker shots. I mean hook shots.

That's right. I can almost dunk! Anyway.....Thanks DAD! It's totally awesome!

Go Emma!

Apparently Friday the 13th isn't unlucky for everyone. Emma was chosen as one of the top two writers in her class and got this sweet certificate. She read the story she wrote in front of a group and got a bunch of other stuff as well.
It's like she's an awesome genetic experiment. All of my brains and good looks, and then I guess something from Melissa, too.
TIM-BURN!!!!!

Well. Tonight the kids are sleeping out back with their dads. Mike had this idea and the girls told the boys and before we knew it there were two tents in our backyard! Our tent is on the right. Paige is checking it out. We had to set it up far away from the dog pooping areas! It is midnight now as I blog and they have not come out of the tent and they fell right to sleep. I got Soph and took her potty, it is kind of a long way from the bathroom so I was afraid she would have to go in the middle of the night.

This is the girls at bedtime. Em is a little wired. She did not want Mike to come back out and sleep out there. She thought they would be fine on their own.

Hanzie even got to join in on the fun. He got to sleep indoors though!

Jen, does Chris' pose look familiar? How happy are kids when they get to jump on a tramp at 830? VERY!!!!

And last but not least...my little talented girl. She was showing us how she could balance her legs on the ball...
Happy Easter! Oh. Wait, it's a week past Easter you say? Oh well. Here are the pics from MY camera. Also, we babysat some painted lady coccoons that weekend and one hatched Easter morning. Also, I think my cousin hatched another one of his own that same day so CONGRATS ROBBIE AND WHITNEY! Jaden is really cute!

Pics of the hunt. Em and Noah.

Jen got the girls special princess eggs to find. Paige was not eager to stop and pose whilst others grabbed more eggs!

Threw a bunch in there...

Em caught on to Sophi's side of the yard!

Wednesday Night

The middle of the week has come and gone. I am always glad to get past the hump day! Today was soccer practice and one mother called to tell me that her son did not want to come back so that kind of made me sad. I'm sure it had nothing to do with me, he was way too little and wasn't really having a good time. But he was so cute and he called me Ms. Coach! We got home late, at 7, so we are always in a rush to get cleaned up, eat something and get in bed. I have been working everyday at Jen's school and having such a great time. I don't know what I am going to do this summer without a job...oh yeah....lay around on the beach! The girls have their countdown going on for their trip to VA/MD in June. They keep talking about what they are going to do, whose bed they will be sleeping in.
I don't have a lot to say tonight. I don't have any pics from the week to post. Oh, Mike did get a new car. Still haven't taken pics of that. He got a Mitsubishi Outlander. The girls love it.
That's all for now my peoples....
cccrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaazy car!

Happy Birthday to Jen!

The big day is here... Jens turns 29 again today! Happy Birthday!
