Graduation Day

Yesterday Paige graduated from her pre-school. They had caps and gowns (Paige borrowed Noah's from when he went to St. Pauls) and a ceremony where all the kids sang some Jesus songs and then got their lil' diplomas. So Paige is all done and will be in real school next year with Emma.

Singin' fer JESUS! She's the next Kirk Franklin. G.P. are ya wit' me?

You may not know this, but he's got the whole world in his hands...

Finally done with pre-school!

Yep We're Still Here

Let the long weekend begin! We had a nice little four day weekend during Memorial Day. It started off with a pancake party of course. Everyone got dressed up in cook outfits. Will was the last to grab one and he got the smallest one!!! He didn't care, small is the new cool. The kids each got to do a part of the pancake mixing and they did a great job!

Paige doing her part, mixing the batter.

Soph, cooking with Noah, and a cat in her pants.

Two-thirds of the Eagney cats are obese. They love to eat. Bauer was sooooo little when we got her!

This was the cutest thing I'd seen in a while! I asked the girls to put away the dishes and I was making dinner. I hear Em go "Paige, knee!" Paige runs into a squatting position and Em runs to leap up onto her and onto the counter. It was like my own little Cirque Du Sole!

Pics Galore. Feast Eyes Now. May Not Get Any More for A Week!

So in an effort to not purchase so much gas Mike decided a motorcycle would be in our best interest since he commutes around 150 miles at least 3 times a week going to work. So here is the new hog. I like calling it a hog. Luckily it fits right in next to my lame van. Lame van, cool hog.

Em is sitting in MY seat! Pay no attention to that awesome workbench behind the hog....

Look out! The wraith is gonna get you!

Backlit photo. sorry.

More Party

One of Soph's fav gifts. A betta fish from the Schraders. It is a girl so Soph wanted to call her Princess but I insisted she pick a specific princess so she named her Jasmine. We want the boyz to get a boy betta and name him Aladdin.

This one's for you Nannie. Em wanted to pick some flowers from the garden for Soph's party and we actually made a pretty nice arrangement.

Karen found the girlz some awesome headsets and sent them down. They wouldn't even take them off to eat dinner!

Paige, do you want some cheetos?

I Know You Miss Some Finley!!

The pups had a good time at the party too! They were all tuckered out after two hours of trying to steal food from youngsters....

And in case that aerial view wasn't good enough for you.....

B-Day Pics from Unfancy Camera

I let the kids eat on the nice clean porch floor since we didn't have enough chairs for all of them. I think they liked the idea of a big picnic.

Will, maxin' and relaxin'.

Paige gazing adoringly at her man. Her man being stoic and macho.

The infamous Sophi Dudley in the middle. We haven't seen her in a while so it was nice to have her over.

Sophia's Birthday

Okay, this is a mega-picture-post. We had the party for Sophia's birthday today and it went pretty well. We made her a sweet cake and she had some friends over to play.

Here's Noah running through the bubbles. I actually only put this one up because it looks like his arm is dislocated or deformed in this picture!

Emma doing her bubble machine sprint.

Just hanging out by the moon bounces (that's right, there were 2 moon bounces) and bubble machine.

Hmm... Paige sure knows how to mug for the camera. She clearly doesn't like being photographed with her boyfriend Noah. Or should I say fiance? Noah wrote Paige a note the other day saying he would marry her!

And if these two crazy kids can't make it work, who can?

And finally the birthday girl!

Back...streets...back ALRIGHT!

Uh-huh. Homemade Hello Kitty cake! With the added bonus of the curly candles.

Emma singing Happy Birthday into her new HSM headset. Soph is moving her mic down so she can blow out those candles.

I think this is the first year she could blow out the candles without spitting everywhere... so anyone who came to LAST years party, I hope you liked the cake!

Here's Will scoping out the food. That didn't work out too well for him since he barfed all over Haus von Schrader soon after they went home.

More playing in the yard. It was about 90 degrees today...

The birthday girl tumbling down the moon bounce slide.

Emma was ready to help open some of Sophia's toys with the scissors.

Tootsie Roll

Melissa went to some teacher party thing that one of her friends was hosting tonight. They don't live too far away so she rode her bike over there. As soon as she got back she took Finley on a bike ride around the block and when she was heading back home again a big owl flew in front of her and landed on a house next door to a neighbor we know down the street. So she called me and once she got back to the house I went over there with my camera. I took a couple of quick shots that didn't turn out very well since it was so dark that I couldn't auto focus. Then I was manual focusing and it was so dark that wasn't doing to great either. At least the owl wasn't timid and let me get way closer than I expected. I was maybe 15 feet from him in the second pic. I took about 8 pictures and then the guy living there comes out front and grunts at me. As soon as he started out the door I kind of waved at him and said I was sorry to disturb him... I was just taking a picture of the owl on his roof. He grunted again and went back inside. So then I felt like a tool and left.

La abuelita hizo la cena mientras estuvimos en el fĂștbol y Paige hizo una cara loca.

Weekend Update

This weekend started off with a brilliant win from Paige's soccer team beating the other guys 1-0. We hardly ever score in that age group so I was thrilled! Saturday morning was equally as thrilling after we won at Em's game 1-0 as well. Will scored our only goal on a direct kick that resulted from a hand ball right in front of their goal. Our female ref was awful, that being one of the few handballs she even called. The other team kept picking up the ball for some reason. The ref kept picking up her cell phone to see if her boyfriend was calling her which is probably why she kept missing the handballs! Em kept hammering the ball into the goalie but she blocked shot after shot. At any rate it was another win for the Sharks! Still undefeated!
After the game we raced off to Daytona to see Ironman. It was totally awesome. Paige said it was the best movie she has seen in years! I already want to see it again and can't wait for a sequel! After the movie Jen made us a great dinner of her famous enchiladas, rice and mexican sweet cornbread. The kids ate quesadillas of course. We had to eat early because we were on our way to a bonfire but that ended up getting cancelled so we just hung out at the dog park unil 730 then the kids went for a swim. Whew! Is that enough of a whirlwind Saturday for you??

Which brings us to Sunday. Sunday was great, it started with Mike making me and the girls eggs and bacon. So delicious! After that we laid on the couch until 2pm! No joke! That was like 5 hours of laying down!!! It was heavenly and well deserved. We watched a lot of shows from our DVR. It was full of all my crappy shows that I record and can't live without! After all that rest I decided to cut the grass since it was about a week overdue! It took forever but after I got it done we went for a nice swim in Grandma's pool! Two-thirds of the boyz joined us and the girls were thrilled that they didn't have to swim with just boring mom.
The boyz were practicing lifting the girls up on their shoulders. Here, Will struggles under Emma.

Sunday morning family breakfast. We all ate together which hardly ever happens since Mike and I don't usually eat breakfast on the weekends.

Bo, freaking out over Soph swimming. She follows her all over the pool yelping at her.

Enjoying a popsicle.

Two cute-PIEs.

Finley spent the afternoon with Kiki and Grandma. I wouldn't have been able to lay around as much today if he had been here!! He gets me off my butt! I missed that little guy all afternoon!
