More V-Day pics and a gift for Melissa

Melissa got her Snuggie this past weekend. After I picked Sophie up from school today she was watching some TV wrapped up in it. But no worries if I throw the remote to her, her hands are out and able to catch! Take that, stupid regular blankets!

I had taken some more Valentine's Day pictures, so in totally timely fashion, here they are.

Paige seems to be enjoying her salad.

No idea why she was making this face.

I think the waitress is throwing gang signs.

Candlelit dinner...

Always ready to pose.

Girls Get a New Bedroom! And Celebrate V-Day!

We pulled a little switch-er-roo this past President's Day by putting the girls beds in the "purple room" and moving most everything else into the "green striped room." Next we bought a new futon to act as couch and bed for our many guests. This way our guests won't have to sleep in the living room and will actually have their own room with a door! So come on down! I don't have any pics of the final room situation but the girls love their new futon and decided to sleep on it as soon as it was in the room! They are laying under Sophi's new comforter that Jen forced me to buy at Target since it was only $10 and Soph has no nice comforter.

The gang, minus Hanzie, hangin' out on V-Day. Can't you feel the love? Boda's leaning away body language says it all.....

A little love bite.

Um, what else to do during a romantic dinner other than Walk Like an Egyptian?

I bought myself some beautiful purple roses for V-Day. I have never seen this color rose before and I had to have them. I even managed to talk the Publix manager down to half price on them since they were wilty!

So Jen had this fabulous idea (does she ever have any other kind?!?!) where we would play restaurant with the kids for V-Day. She made up some menus, based on what we had at the Casa de Eagney then we made our dining room into a most beautiful restaurant. I bought nice new candles and we used our fancy tablecloth. The kids even got to use real plates! Bonus!

The waitress was played by Jen, I could never have done it, I'm far too rude! The kids had a great time and we really got into our waitress, head chef and sous chef roles too!

Today's Your Birthday!

Always the photographer, it was nice to get this great shot of Uncle Greg and the girls. Yes it is an old pic, but one of my favorites which is why I chose to post it on his 40th B-Day!!!! Happy Birthday Gregory! We love you!!!

Well Hi! Long Time No See.

So I am just not into blogging that much anymore. I am so overwhelmed at work that I don't feel like getting on the computer much when I get home. So, that being said, sorry for the long gaps, but things probably won't get better until summer! You can catch me on facebook too so don't worry. Facebook is pretty addictive so I try not to get on too often. I start looking at people's profiles and then it's midnight! Where did the time go? I was sick last week but am feeling much better this week. I actually had to leave my kids with the other fourth grade teachers and leave school to go sleep and medicate myself. Em is pretty stuffy this week but she doesn't let it get to her. She sounds awful though and nyquil doesn't seem to help. Soph is doing fine, grandma is back to pick her up from school so she is happy. She is very excited for her Valentine's Day ice cream sundae party.
Paige has the most exciting news! She lost her first tooth over the weekend. She was super excited and thankfully Aunt Stef had made her a tooth fairy pillow, a red one of course. She was in disbelief that the fairy gave her $2 for one measly tooth.

Karen, this pic of Spike is for you! Soph wants me to tell you that she is taking great care of him for you.

Me and my girl. My hair looks great, I had just finished a bike ride!
