Sunday Mike went Mountain Biking. I was sad that I could not go. I can't wear shoes yet, not for another week, my scabs are almost gone. So I decided to go on a bike ride (on our streets) down to Blockbuster. I had to return a movie by noon....Marie Antoinette. Great scenary and costumes but no plot, go figure. I can bike in flops so I am pretty awesome. I loaded up the girls into the bike trailor and Em got on her bike. It still has training wheels on it. We have been talking to her about learning how to ride without them. She rode all the way there, no complaining, one water stop. We stopped at the playground by Publix afterwards. Mike ended up meeting us there after his ride since it took so long for us to get there. Don't worry, we made it by noon! We all rode back home together. Em's face was all red and she was very proud of herself so I snapped a pic. BTW, whaaaat in the world is Soph doing in the background? And why does she always have to be the center of attention....

Well it was my turn to cook the pancakes Friday night.....but I let Jen do it instead. She made them so perfectly!!!! I have no patience and usually end up making them too dark so I let her take over. I had to snap this pic of Will pouring syrup out of my huge SAMS club bottle! He had to stand up in the chair!!! HA! So cute.

This pic is from Saturday night. We went to see Bridge to Terabithia. So sad. But good. Then the Schraders and Grandma/KIKI came over for a cookout. We had a gorgeous weekend here. The weather has been perfect, windy, sunny and 80 degrees. The kids got into the hot tub after dinner. They listened to HSM soundtrack while in there. I was hoping to get some good video of that but they didn't want to perform. I think they had a good time.

After the Schraders left the girls asked to go sleep at Grandma's house. They stayed there Friday night already so I was worried another night would be too much for BahamaMAMA. She ended up saying OK so I took them over there. Em admitted she just wanted to stay with Kiki. They play real nice with her and are pretty gentle. Anyway, here is a shot of the kids finishing their champagne....
Pet pics, you know you love them. This is nightly treat time, everyone who sits gets a treat!

Amy, I'm totally with you on pet pics! I can't get enough and I'm sure it's what all you peeps in bloggerland are craving...

Matching outfits make my mornings so much easier!

Then we took her for a walk with Loki and Bo.

Then we showed her all her new toys.

And we showed her how to get up on the couch....sike...she already knew how to do that.

Then we let Loki and Boda terrorize her....

OK, I'm voting for Blake. He is my new TV boyfriend. What do you think Kathy? Danny? Who did you all vote for?
Well we are home sick today. Em and Paige had fevers off and on all night so they stayed home. Soph has been fine all weekend so I sent her in. Thankfully, I didn't get any calls to sub so I didn't have to feel guilty about staying home. Grandma Bobbie comes back home tomorrow so we are so happy about that! We also will be picking up her new puppy on the way home from the airport so that is exciting!

Here is Paige using Loki as her prop. Does she look sick or what?

What a cutie.

Finally snapped a shot of Em. She wouldn't get up and pose and I wouldn't get out of my chair to get a good angle and Loki wouldn't move!

Sunday was spent laying in front of the TV. The girls have been a little sick and it was cold so we decided to take it easy. Katie hung out with us during the afternoon and watched some shows. Then the girls were cold so we all took a hot shower together (That sounds weird, Katie went home, she did not shower with us). After that the girls wanted their hair curled, so we put curlers in. They looked a little crazy in the morning...

Em's hair would look really good if I put big curlers in all over. I didn't have enough big ones so I had to put some small ones in too.

Em from the front.

No paparazzi!

That's a little better. Her hair didn't take at all. It was pretty much still straight in the morning.

Paige had a fever all day yesterday. We had to keep giving her medicine. She was too feverish to get curlers so I cut her some bangs instead. This is the best pic I could get. She was shivering and chattering her teeth so I didn't bug her to pose better. They look really cute, they sweep to the side perfectly.

Rocket sauce

We went to the beach to watch the rocket launch on Saturday night. It was pretty cold for Florida, so you can see the girls are bundled up. We've been getting up to around 60 during the days, but it's dropped to freezing at night for the last couple of days.

Paige posing for the sunset.

Rocket... you can see the contrail thin and then get thick again. That is where the last 2 SRB's ignited.

The girls posing while we waited for the launch.

The contrails as they were drifting away...

Em posing on the playground after the launch.

I asked the girls to stand still for a picture and Sophie posed like a doofus! I'm not sure if she was trying to "freeze" or if she was about to start a race.

Delta 2 THEMIS launch. 5 satellites to study the aurora borealis from space.

The rocket clearing the condos. You can see all the people that went to the beach for the launch. Or what's left of the beach, since they have been pretty bad since the hurricanes a couple of years ago.

Jen posed the girls for this picture.
You know you are a Floridian when you are passing the time waiting for the Daytona 500 to start by cooking pigs-n-a-blanket....That's right people, as I type I am waiting for the most delicious party food ever to enter my belly! Have a good president's day yall!

So yesterday after school I went out and got another tattoo. Mike informs me that is not the best shot of my foot that he's ever seen. Sorry. Normally, my foot is pretty hot! Anyway, I wanted something that incorporated the girls' names. I was trying to get a palm tree but the artist and myself could not figure out how to get the initials just right, so then I saw these bugs and called Mike to get his opinion. He had the idea to put three, in diff colors then we could just put their initials on the backs. I absolutely love it! The artist tattoo guy came up with a perfect lady bug. As I told him, not too cartoony and not scary! The letters are great the colors are awesome. I'm so happy I've got my girls on my skin!

Paige was a little sick the other day. She came home from school, we hung out with Katie and Jenna for a bit. Paigey fell right to sleep on Jenna.

I suppose I should put some pics up of the actual manatees, so here you go. Two on the left. I think a mom and her babe.

I don't know if this is one or not...you decide.

Hug time!

Playing peek-a-boo in their fav tree.
We went to Blue Springs Park last weekend. It was a little chilly but that didn't stop us! Here, we are pausing to read about the "endangered" manatees.

I told them to pretend they were manatees...

Will, my only good boy, posed with the girls when I asked for a group shot!

Me and my girls.

Kids doing some learnin'.
I'M BACK!!!! AND I'M BAAAAAADD! My computer has been down for the past week or so which is why I have not been blogging. It was so slow I couldn't deal with it! Mike found a great deal the other night online, and BAM, my new comp is up and running! He spent Friday taking care of the sick girls and hooking up my new "tutor" (as Soph calls it) while I was a working woman. I was informed it is now the fastest in the house....
So my first blog back will be about Valentime's Day. I spent it working at St Pauls in Paige's class. They had a great party with tons of treats. Here are some cute pics I snapped with someone else's cam!

Will and Paige. The kids handed out valentines two at a time.

You can see their hand made boxes in front of them.

Mrs. Allyson helping kids to hand out valentines. Noah, in the bottom left corner.

Paige, overjoyed at all the valentines. Will, he's harder to impress.

Noah, in a good mood, finally gave me a smile!

Budweiser?

So we were coming back from the book store in Daytona Beach and we stopped at a light on Speedway. This is still the build up to the Daytona 500 next weekend, and last night was the Bud Shoot Out. I guess this guy is in town for the Budweiser events... And he's smarter than most people in town for the races. At least he knows how to use a crosswalk.
