What a quick weekend! I worked 4 days last week so that flew by and now my weekend is gone too. I havent' been taking any pics lately, don't know why. Well, my camera batteries did die and then we had none recharged to reload. So I will just be updating verbally today. I'll start with Thursday. Katie and Jenna came over and we watched our shows. We love Thursday night. SMALLVILLE was so awesome. How hot is red kryptonite Clark? Dad, I know you agree! Anyway, the shows were all great!
I subbed on Thursday and Friday for a class I normally love to do, but they were so bad I could hardly stand going back on Friday. So I was glad when Friday afternoon came. We went over to the Schrader's that afternoon for another waffle party since last Friday's was such a hit. I was remarking how funny it was that the girls eat like 2 waffles each but if I were to cook that for Sunday breakfast or something they would eat 3 bites and be full. Mike and the girls want me to start cooking it for dinner but then we wouldn't get to enjoy Friday nights at Jen's! We put the girls to bed there so that we could watch a movie. We ended up watching that Kevin Costner jam "The Guardian." It has the Kutch in it and I don't even like Costner but it was actually a good movie.
Saturday we went to a party at noon for Nina, Paige's friend. She lives one street over and goes to school with her. Once again, I forgot my camera. I felt bad for her because it poured all morning and I know they had planned to let the kids play outside the whole time. Plus it was freezing!!! So that party was not that great, except that they had this 5th grade girl come over and make balloon animals which everyone loved. After the party we all took a rest because Mommy and Daddy had a big date that night. Well, a double date. Katie, Jenna, Mike and I went to Orlando to see this comedian, Nick Swardson, that we love. We went out to dinner first at Smokey Bones, soooooo tasty! Nick is in Grandma's Boy....a movie we love (Danny you must watch it!!). He also does Gay Robot which is a skit that has been on our site a few times. He is the voice of Gay Robot. Nick was so funny!!! And we were so close to him because it was a tiny little club.We got home early so Katie, Mike and I went over to hang with Chris and Jen to watch SNL. Kind of funny. REALLY like the musical guest, Lilly Allen.
Sunday morning I picked up the girls from Grandma's house. Heard they had a good time having a web show with Unkie Greg and Aunt Karen. Hopefully Grandpa can get his up and running and we can talk to him this weekend! Katie had spent the night so when I got back we watched some more (recorded) Thursday night shows and we played outside. I started shaving Loki, but he can only take so much of that buzzing razor! So basically I got one side done. He looks a little silly. We'll try again tomorrow. Gibbs came over and played for a while and then we all took naps at nap time. I was soooo tired! What a lazy day. I really didn't get much done, except for laundry.
Right now I'm watching the Superbowl and Prince is awful. Seriously, why didn't he perform "Raspberry Beret?"
