Emma and Paige had their first soccer games of the season. Paige was still a little under the weather so she decided tantrums were the way to go. She refused to play and then when we finally got her on the field she stood in one spot and pouted. So that game was a disaster. Then when that was done it was Emma's turn. She had a great game and was one of the top players on her team. It was nice to hear other parents talking about how great she was doing out there. That way I know it isn't just in my head that she was doing so well.
Before we get in to the action, let's take a look at how Paige enjoyed watching Em's game.

Em on the attack... she took the ball all the way down the field and scored her teams first goal!
Getting it done at both ends of the field! In the last quarter (they play quarters instead of halves in this league) Em played goalie and made some great saves. So her team held the shutout and won 3-zippy
