9/9/09!! Do You Like Nines?

Nothing much happening around here. It will start to get busier once soccer season starts which I believe is in two weeks. Em, Will and Noah will be on the same team and Paige and Soph will be on another. Soph is super excited to finally be playing. She assures me she is going to run her fastest. Let's just hope it will be in the direction of the ball and/or goal...
I have been pretty bored this week, haven't gotten any calls for subbing. We had a nice holiday on Monday complete with cookout. We made some cookie dough and went to "soccer tryouts" later in the week. I really liked the day we made cookie dough. The girls actually made it almost all by them selves, with me watching and giving directions. I told them they were the best cookies we've made since living in Florida and nannie would be proud. Like it said, it's been a slow week...

In order to eat the cookies we must go on a walk after dinner. So we walked to grandma's last night. Finley went beserk over a schnauzer. He hates those almost as much as jack russels. Here the girls are next to the pond with DJ Jazzy Jeff (not the one from Fresh Prince of Bel Air).

The girls come right home after school and finish their homework. I don't want to deal with it at 7pm so we get it over with quick! I walked in the room and saw Paige using the huge pencil and pretending to talk on a cell phone, while still doing homework. What a multi-tasker! I thought it looked hilarious so I snapped a shot! Of course Em tries to sneak into the background...

"Happy" Labor Day! The dips are dancing...

Don't you just love Chick Fil A? We are constantly getting free food from them with all their great deals and promotions. On Labor Day you could get a free sandwich if you wear a sports team shirt. Would you believe that my poor daughters didn't even have any Redskins or UMD shirts to wear? They had to wear their old soccer jerseys! We still got our sandwiches....of course the girls wouldn't eat them so I had to save them for later! They all tried a bite and Soph agreed that it did taste better than McDonnies. Here is Soph in her "coaches" uniform as she called it....She wanted to look just like her mom!

Now there's a happier Labor Day photo! I got all my hair cut off but I had also been in the pool so it doesn't look as sexy as it usually does. Plus, jeez my forehead is huge.
