Today we went to the dog park. Jenna, Katie and I took my dogs, Gibbs, Hanzie and Atticus. He belongs to Jody, Katie's friend. It is kind of cold here but we stayed outside for an hour until they wouldn't run anymore.
This is Hanzie and Gibbs. Too cute! We went to pick up Hanzie since Jen was at work. He had a great time.

I managed to get everyone in the shot, eventhough its not close up. Loki would not leave poor Atticus alone! Thankfully he tolerates Loki barking incessantly in his face. He is just a puppy but Loki doesn't want him to think he is the big boss.

Boda and Gibbs playing fetch.

I have no idea what I am doing to this dog.
Hanzie, followed by Atticus. They liked each other. Atticus is Jody's dog. She is Katie's friend. She was working so Katie kidnapped him and brought him to the park. He is 8 months old I think. He is a Great Dane.

This was our attempt to get all the dogs together for a group shot. Loki kept barking at Atticus so he wouldn't sit. Hanzie didn't like being in a group. Boda just wanted someone to throw the ball and Gibbs, well, he was just being Gibbs...

Hanzie was so glad when the other dogs finally got tired and went away! He brought this log over and we played fetch, just us two....until everyone else discovered we were having fun w/o them.

Close up of Atticus. He is so pretty! He has bright green eyes and he is like a charcoal color. He is pretty well behaved too.

He is also pretty tall....
Paige wanted to show off some of her school work too. We read a book about a dog and she had to fill out a couple of questions about it. I asked her to draw a pic of a dog. I think she did a pretty good job. Of course Em had to sneak into the pic...

We worked on the letter "V" last night. The girls all made glittery Vs.
The girls had their first sleepover at Katie's house this past Saturday. They were very excited to have their nails painted, since Mom never does it!

The girls packed up their sleeping bags and headed over. I sent them with donuts, bananas and chocolate milk.

Katie did their hair all pretty since we went to the circus the following day.

How freakin' cute is this? It's Em's first spelling test! I scanned it on Friday, when it was returned with a 100% on it! But due to my busy-ness I have not posted it til now. I thought you all might get a kick out of seeing Em's handwriting. We studied all week, although I don't think she had any probs with these words, I mean seriously! Way to go Em!

In other news, I have been Em's teacher for two days now. On the first day, THREE children went home with LICE! GUH-ROS! Then on the second day, one of the little buggers tried to sneak back in with his head still buggy! Makes me itch just thinking about it!

The long awaited pink guitar has finally arrived! The Crosses bought Paige and Em guitars for xmas, but only Em's came. Well, it made it to our house today and the girls jammed all night long.

Ringling Bros in Daytona Beach

Circus pics galore... There are quite a few pics from the circus. I took over 200, but the darkness and distance made sure that most came out looking like your standard UFO/Ghost/Bigfoot picture. So here are some of the ones that came out okay.

TGIF! I have been sick all week and working as well. Today I am still sick but I just get to sit at home. It is totally freezing here and we are trapped inside today. Paige has been working on some artwork and Soph is just playing and watching TV. I had a nice week working with Jen at her school, giving kids the DIBELS test. Not much else went on this week. It got really cold on Wednesday, that night we went over to the Schrader's house to see their new "fireball" as Noah called it. There might be some pics on their site. Thursday, I brought the boys home with me after school and they played outside with the girls and then we built another fire since they got soooo cold outside! We even had enough time to toast a couple of marshmellows before Jen came to pick them up. Today, I guess I'll just be relaxing since I am sick. The dogs are going insane because they haven't been out and about all week so maybe I'll run them to the park.

It got cold enough to wear sweaters so the girls pulled out their new sparkly sweaters they bought with their birthday money. Sorry, the pics are blurry! It was early in the morning! Paige is doing a glamour pose....

We have to leave for school so early that it is still dark. I'm not sad though, Florida still gets more light than anyone else! OOOOHHHHHH!
Em looked so cute, I straightened her hair and she had on her nice jeans.

This is Paige this morning. I said "Paige, I like your hat." She said "That is because I am an artist."

This is Soph, goofing around. She is not really into art like the other two girls. She only sits for a few minutes before getting up to color a wall, or grandma's couch...

Well, we had a good weekend, but I forgot to take my camera everywhere I went. I did snap a pic Friday when we brought Em's friend Gigi home with us from school. They had a great time playing and we made rice krispy treats with that new mixed cereal. You know, half choc half vanil. They certainly did not hit the spot for me but I'm sure Uncle Greg would have liked them. Here is a shot of Em and Gi playing dress up, of course.

Mike sprayed and painted the hallway this weekend. I guess he already blogged about it. I still have to paint the corners but I didn't feel well today so it did not get done.

Katie came over for pizza dinner tonight and then helped Em do her homework. Then she gave the girls a bath and read to them so I could get some vaccuming time in. Here they are doing part of the homework where they have to jump 100 times. Tomorrow is the 100th day of school so she brought home homework where she has to pick an activity and do it 100 times.

Once again I'm working all week, I know, poor me. I'll try to take some more pics and finish painting.
