Chris and I have been trying to go out mountain biking some lately. Today I was able to get Melissa to go up there too. The trails are on a nature preserve and beside the bike trails they have some that are multi-use, so people can walk or ride horses on those as well. So Melissa walked a bit and met me where the bike trail intersects with the walking trail. I was dying from the bike ride by then anyway, so we walked over to a scenic area called Oxbow Overlook while Chris kept riding. He caught back up with us over at the overlook and then we all went back to the parking lot.
We met some other people at the overlook too, and one of the guys was into geocaching. He had his GPS with him and I think he said he had found 3 or 4 caches at the park. We are taking the girls to do some of that next weekend. They're already excited for the "treasure hunt". Hopefully the Schraders will be able to go as well. I think we'll be doing that on Sunday if the weather is good, so look for pictures then.
It looks like she's pooping, but she probably isn't...
