Read-Pattillo was invited to participate in the NSB Homecoming parade and Jen asked Melissa to march as well. The parade goes down Canal Street and many of the local shops have their windows painted with 'Cuda colors and slogans. The parade started around 5:00 p.m. and Melissa was able to come site with us for the remainder of it once her part was over. Sophie wasn't behaving very well and said she had a stomach ache, so Sara offered to stay home with her so the other girls would be able to go. Em has been under the weather and was kind of out of it, but she insisted that she wanted to go see the parade.
