Bored, Bored, Bored

Just sitting at home today .... again. No sub jobs for me today or yesterday. Anyway, there was a giant turtle in the road yesterday, a yellow-eared slider I think. I helped him crossed the road then came home to tell Mike. I continued to worry about him when I got home, because there weren't any woods or bodies of water that he could head off into. So I packed the girls in the van and drove back down the road to find him. He had only moved about 6 inches! I grabbed him and put him in the back of the van(after he dropped a gallon of pee by my feet!). This sucker probably weighed as much as Sophi, which is around 25 lbs. ...

Do you know how wide my cargo area is? He stretches all the way across.


Here I am hoisting him out. He was a heavy sucker! I'm standing that way to avoid anymore pee!


We picked him up in front of that tan two story house on our street and took him to the "lake" by our house. He is a water turtle so I'm not sure why he was so far away from a lake.


Em takes up as much space as he does!
