Meet the Teacher!

This morning the Eagneys took their children to their brand new school! We are so excited to be going to Jen's school. Not that she owns it but I just don't want to type in the title in case a stalker is reading! Anyway, as you can imagine, Paige was very shy and wouldn't talk at all. Luckily she has two of her best buds from pre-school in her class. She will start the year off in a portable and move into her newly renovated room in a month. Paige will have the same teacher that the boyz all had in kindergarten. She is a very nurturing, older grandma type English woman. Mike loved it today when she said Paige was going to have a tip-top year.

Here Paige demonstrates how to sit at a desk.

Emma will have our friend Liz as her teacher. Ian, from soccer, is also in her class and sits close to her. Em is thrilled to have Liz as her teacher but we have to try and remember to call her by her proper teacher title!!

Back home, after a quick stop at the bank...blue pops for all. We picked up some school spirit shirts while we were there. I picked up a bright green one for myself. They didn't really have any colors that looked good on me. But I was tired of wearing my old navy blue one!

The girls pose in their new school clothes. Nannie will love this outfit that Grandma Bobbie picked up for Paige from Gymboree. It is a whole sunflowers motif. Em is sporting the latest from Old Navy. Above, Soph protests the war in her own way by wearing a shirt with doves and peace signs. It is quite overcast today with much rain expected today. We have a storm system moving across the ocean towards us so we'll see if it develops...
