Sunday, That's My Funday

Not really fun! The girls and I have been working hard all day long when I finally called it quits to come in and eat lunch. We also ended up making cupcakes and then I took pics and then figured I would blog the pics and so here we are! The girls cut some beautiful flowers to put in the kitchen for us. Salvia are the long purple flowers and lantana is the pink/yellow flower. In Florida, some types of Salvia were just outlawed because apparently you can use it as a drug! I hope I don't have that kind because it is so beautiful, I would hate to tear it up!

We had delicious leftover pizza for lunch. (Soph and Finster are at grandmas). Then I thought it would be nice to whip up some cupcakes so we did that and the girls licked the bowl so clean I barely had to wash it! We are so tired from our yardwork and washing the cars. It is super hot right out in the sun where we were, but not so bad in the shade. I am dreading going back out to wash my car but it is really disgusting so I will just get it over with...

Jen's fav...another Fl snake! This cute little guy was wondering around our garage. When Mike called me out I wasn't afraid that he had found a snake...I said "Please don't tell me you found another kitten?!" You know I can't turn away a stray. I really wanted to keep this little guy but we had no cage for him. He was beautiful with his gray and copper body. Mike thinks it was a little rat snake. *** UPDATE: I looked it up and it seems to be a Miami-phase corn snake morph. That is all.*** I begged the little guy to stay in our garage and keep all the bugs and small rodents away from me. Let's hope he listens!

Here is where Mike found him. He was pretty slow for a snake, Mike caught him with some tongs.

Ready to strike! Easy there tiger!

Soph was the first brave one to pet it after Mike charmed it. Paige was still unsure.

Then Dr. Dolittle came out with her Farrah Fawcet hair!

You're free! But please, go back to my garage!
