A month or so ago I saw a good deal on an underwater housing that would work with one of our older digital cameras. I ordered it right away since it was about 75% off. When it got here I went to put the camera in there and try it out and the stupid camera wasn't working! So I looked online to see if anyone else was having the same problem with the camera and we got lucky... Canon had already issued a recall. As a matter of fact, the recall covered 2 of our old cameras. The other one I had known was broken but it was another older camera we had turned over to the girls so I figured it had just seen a little too much abuse. Melissa called Canon and they e-mailed her a shipping label for each camera and said to send them in and the parts would be replaced for free even though they've been out of warranty for probably 3 years. They actually just sent us a refurbished camera, because I know the one we got back isn't the one we sent in. Anyway, the first camera got here the other day and after soccer practice last night Melissa took the girls to jump in the pool. Here are the first pictures with our underwater setup...
For some reason Em was making doofus faces for almost all of the pictures.

You can see that Melissa needs a bit of practice with the camera

But when Em is taking pictures they turn out pretty well considering the subject
