Happy Birthday Finley!

Today my baby turned one! Does he look any bigger? The answer is no! I can't fatten him up, he has stopped growing for now. Finley had a birthday breakfast of rice, chicken and steak. He shared with Bo and Jazz. Then he opened up his gift, that bone/ball he is chewing on in the pic. In other news....Paige had a dentist appointment. Our hygienist, Cricket, is so awesome that she lets the girls operate all the tools on each other. So while Paige is laying there, Em squirts the rinse water in her mouth and then Soph was sucking it up with the sucker tool. I tried to warn Cricket about giving a mouse a cookie but she didn't really care and let the girls carry on like wild monkeys in her office. Em also had an orthodontist appointment this morning and it looks like we will start phase 1 of operation Make Emma's Smile Fit in Her Mouth sometime in February. She will be getting a device put into the roof of her mouth that will allow it to expand. She will then get 4 braces on her 4 front teeth (she currently has 2 teeth) and wear those for a year. She may or may not get a couple of braces on the bottom, don't worry, those will be free of charge. I really love our orthodontist so far. He wants to get in and out of there real fast and just fix a couple of things to prepare her for when her adult teeth come in. After that wonderful news, Mom and I headed out to shop for the last of our Christmas presents. We were gone for almost 6 hours!!! We found a ton of great gifts and I want Christmas to hurry so I can see everyone's faces when they get their presents! Whooopppeeeeee!

Saturday night Jen, the girls and myself headed over to our friend's house for a bonfire. She has an awesome piece of land and I really need to go back and see it in the daytime. Soph has declared Jen her favorite mother.

Our friend, Liz, also Em's teacher at our school, hosted the party for a bunch of her friends and family. It was so dark, I took this pic while Liz was scratching her shoulder! Doy!


Soph loved the chairs. Her litle toosh fell right thru and she thought that was hysterical.


We went for a walk the other afternoon when it was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. I made the girls pose by the lake.


Ethan's NINTH party was on Saturday morning! Andy sits with Soph. All my girls have a crush on him. He is the art teacher's son and brother to Sammi.


Em will be eight in just a few days! Dang we are getting old!

Paige had her school party on Thursday. Luckily Mike and Soph were able to go and take pics. I even stopped by for a bit with my entire fourth grade. That's Mrs. Walton next to Paige, she is your dream Kindergarten teacher, so caring and funny. The kids all love her. And yes, she dressed as Paige's twin that day.
