This Week In Pictures!

We had a nice quick week. I love being a teacher. My weeks, although stressful at times, can fly by in the blink of an eye. I had my first observation by my principal. I scored fine. There were things I did that could have been done better, but mostly it looks like I did awesome. I can't remember much else about the week since I was so focused on that! At the end of the week we had an event here in town called Light Up Flagler. Our school puts on a performance as do other kids groups and they close off the street and you walk up and down the street watching everything. It's a great time! On Saturday we had the NSB Christmas Parade followed by the boat parade. Parades down here are pretty awesome. We all had a great time. The pics from that parade are on Mike's camera so he will put those up later....As for now, let me recap with pics below...

As you'll recall if you read my facebook, my lizard laid eggs. There they are sitting in the water dish. We transferred them to another cage setup. Alas, they did not last. This is the second batch that has died. I need to do some more research to see where we are going wrong or my karma is going to start going downhill big time.

Now that I am a full time employee, our Sundays are usually devoted to cleaning. The girls were moving the chairs out of the way so I could mop and decided they need to make an animal train instead. They had a great time with that and it made very little mess. (my favorite kind of activity)

Finley is not sure he wants to get on that train.

Two of the kids from my school. The one on the left is the brother of one of the boys in my class. They played with Jazz all during the performance.

Here are the kids getting ready to sing. Jazz has yet another admirer. He is so good with crowds that I decided to bring him along to the festivities. He in on this medication that makes him pee a lot and I didn't want him to pee in the house. He really enjoyed the singing. So much so that he started singing too...right in the middle of the kids singing. Jen and I really enjoyed it. I heard other people enjoying his singing too. Thankfully it only lasted for a minute.

One of Sophia's girlfriends from school is the grand-daughter of a teacher I work with. We met up at the parade and sat by her. Soph was thrilled to see someone she knew since Em and Paige knew everyone else.

Alyssa, Connie then the boys and girls mobbing Chris.

I also started making my new christmas wreath this weekend. These pics are in the wrong order. I wanted the blank wreath to come first so you could see the progress. Oh well. You get the idea. I still need to glue some things on it, don't worry.

The girls and daddy were helping me out, putting my bells in groups of three.

The blank canvas.

Saturday morning I washed the dogs and the girls cleaned out daddy's leaf catcher.
