Grandad Visits Sunny Florida!

Where do I begin? We have had a very busy month and a very busy last week. My dad came to visit, this is only the second time he has been to my house so we had a lot of catching up to do! He was up for anything so the girls always wanted to go to the park with him. Grandad got to see two soccer games and a dance class. On Friday he gave a lecture to the fifth graders at Read-Pattillo on shoplifting/stealing. They were very excited to have a guest lecturer and everything went well. I was so proud to have him talk there and the kids really seemed to enjoy hearing about him being a probation officer. Dad is now retired so we had jokingly suggested he start his volunteer work in Florida by giving a lecture. Little did we know that the teachers would really enjoy the idea! After the lecture, dad and Mike went to play golf. That night we set up the new tent and slept in the backyard. Here is grandad tucking everyone in.
