Sick day

Last night was Emma's last soccer game of the season. Sadly, she was too sick to go play. She's been feeling sick since Sunday morning. She was throwing up initially, but now she just seems to have some cold or flu type of sore throat and headaches. She's pretty weak and is just laying around in the bed. So she missed last night's game, which was a nail-biter. The other team scored first and the Red Jaguars got lucky and had Will come through again and score to even it up for a 1-1 final score. So even though we didn't win every game, we stayed undefeated and ended with an 11-0-1 record. Pretty good! Coach Melissa had the first place team in her first year coaching in this league. Up next is basketball, and I think that probably won't go as well but we'll see!

Anyway, I am home with Em today since she said she still didn't feel well enough for school this morning. It's the first day she missed this year.
