This morning my alarm clock sounded a little different. It sounded more like a cat gagging and less like a buzzer. So as I bolted out of bed to herd everyone onto a surface that wasn't my bedroom floor I realized it was too late for my poor carpet. The smell was very strong so at 5am I had to pull out the carpet cleaner and get to work. Someone, I'm thinking it was a cat, although it was a huge amount of throw-up, had projectile vomiting that went so far under my bed that I had to squeeze some of my body under the bed in order to clean it up. It was pretty nice of them to wake me up that way. I'm like hey, maybe you could just drag your sharp nails across my sleeping face. Mike was barely bothered by the vacuum buzzing by his feet. After that I decided to go ahead and take my morning walk since I was wide awake anyway.
After that the girls and I got ready for school. I was going in to volunteer in Paige's class to help her teacher get some things done. We had a nice morning, Paige was a little clingy and kept tackling my leg with hugs so forceful I was almost knocked off my feet. She has a pretty good class, one weird girl and no other crazies. The school also had a pep rally today so it was nice that I got to experience that for the first time with the girls. I ate lunch with both the girls, well mostly Paige. Em was sitting with her cool friends and didn't really make room for me when I came over to say hi. I took that as a hint to just say hi and go back to sit with Paige. I left lunch to pick up Sophi and then we both drove home. I was greeted at the door by Jazz and Bo and the worst smelling house ever. Someone, Jazz I believe, had thrown up 6 times throughout the house and Finley had loose stool in his kennel. I guess they got sick or ate something bad. It took all afternoon to clean up. The girls helped by picking up the house so I could vacuum.
So that was my day. It is really nice outside this evening with some light winds. Looks like we are going to miss the Hanna storm but might get some Ike next week. Like I said last time, don't believe the news reports and don't panic unti I show up on your doorstep....Peace Out

What a way to start & end a day..
Uh, that's not true at all. I was EXTREMELY bothered by the vacuum! I'll make sure to speak up next time so we don't have any mroe confusion!!!
well, how about this...The kitten put his "brown eye" on my hand last night and it was moist. The smell lasted even after I washed my hand 3 times. It was some nasty stuff.
That's like a stink palm from Mallrats! Were you eating delicious chocolate covered pretzels? Damn they're tasty!
