We Made It Home!! After another 12 hour drive we are finally back home and my house is just about back to normal after a full day of cleaning! The bathroom looks so good! I can't believe how big it looks now that the vanity and toilet are so smaller. Now if we could just afford a new tub!
Our last few days up north were nice and relaxing. Friday we went to IKEA and spent a few bucks buying neat stuff that we can't usually find anywhere else. For example, I got a huge string of lights in the shape of big green leaves! I know! COOL! The girls all got new night-lights that are squishy ghosts and you push on their head and they "glow."
Saturday, Nannie threw us a party and we got to see a bunch of the Eagneys. Her parties are always a lot of fun so I'm glad she got us all together. My friend Bridget drove up to the party as well and brought her kids to play. After the big crowd left we played a game of pop cranium and got to see Mike dance like J-Lo so that was especially entertaining.
Sunday we packed up and left Maryland to drive to VA. It was hard to say goodbye. I hate saying them and dragging them out because then I start to cry. So we said goodbye quickly and jumped in the car. Once we got to Va we stoppped at a park and set off some father's day rockets. We had this huge pink rocket that we set off 3 times. Mike has the pics on his camera so he will have to post those at a later date. Later on we went to my Dad's house and played around before going to dinner together.
Monday we got up early and left by 8am. Our drive was uneventful, thankfully! The girls slept for about 3 hours, waking up at 11am and staying awake almost the whole rest of the time. They did very well in the car and Soph was the only one who kept asking if we were in "Slorida" yet.
Nannie and the girls made cookies for us. Em spent more than half her nights at Nannie's house.
(Mike's) Uncle Matt and his two boys Kyle and Steve. Hopefully they will be visiting us in August. How cute are those boys? I'm sure they loved me calling them cute!
Dad and the girls at the restaurant on Father's Day.
Soph and Jaden couldn't stop hugging. (That's Bridget's son)
Bridget and I in Nannie's backyard. Not the most flattering of pics but at least Em shot from the chest up like I told her!
