Demolition Man

The movie Demolition Man may have sucked, but not as much as doing this bathroom project... Melissa wouldn't let me get a new lens. She's too clever to fall for my ruse. She told me to just use Em's camera instead, so here are some pictures of where things stand.


Toilet out and a little over a dozen tiles left to break out.

No more vanity. I'll be buying the new one tomorrow along with a nice new toilet! Who's excited???


So you can see what's left. I have to get the new tile started tonight, buy the new vanity, toilet and wainscoting/trim tomorrow and finish tiling. then Friday night is the big Vanity/Toilet install party. You're all invited. I'm taking a dinner break while the floor dries from the toilet removal, then back to work, unless we lose power again. we did last night while I was asleep, and we've got a pretty big thunderstorm coming through right now. We've had a couple flickers, but the lights are still on for now. Since Loki is the biggest pansy in the world when it comes to thunder, he's trying to crawl up my butt. He won't get more than a couple of feet away. I went to put in a load of laundry a few minutes ago and he pushed his way into the little laundry room with me. Now he's sitting on my feet under the desk while I type. Candy ass.


GREAT! We lost power while I was posting! Now blogger auto saves drafts though, so you guys got lucky because I wasn't going to type all that junk again.
