Who needs pics of kids when you have a new kitty around to photograph?? Dang, that's a sweet lookin' feline! Got a little grit in her ear but we can clean that up easy once we get a little more familiar with each other. I am very sore today from my shot. I can't even lift my arm above my head!!! The kitty is a girl and yes her name is Rat Bauer. We are going to call her Bauer. Assuming that she lives thru her quarantine! I just sat on the porch with her for 2 hours watching my 24 DVD on the portable player. I told Mike I was ready to put a flat screen up on the wall above the hot tub. As I was sitting with her I heard this awful noise that sounded like a kitten drowning in our pond. Turns out, according to Mike, it was a juvenile tree frog. He just didn't know how to do a proper ribbit yet. I asked Mike to please survey the pond because I did not want to wake up to any dead kitties!
In other news, Em and Paige went to see Transformers with Grandma. Soph was too young. They said they enjoyed it but Grandma said Em fell asleep! I had to work today at St. Pauls so we had a very busy morning since I had to get all the girls up at 645 and take them with me. Yeah, that's all about the kids, now back to the cat!
This is Bauer laying on my chest. Not much cushion! We'll be able to take her to the vet by next Wednesday!

Dani would say "You got yourselves a Swamp Cat". That's what he says about our cat Yoda, who has a similiar look. Melissa is now a professional Cat Tamer.
she will love you for life since you saved her. Kittie is the same way - even if she isn't a very good at cuddling, or sitting on my lap, or showing affection. She is not the best out of the three, but she is still cute.
I like the name.
