A Whole New World

So I got my eyes done the other day. I can't believe I actually went thru with it. I have been very afraid that I would be blinded forever but nothing unusual happened and here I am with perfect sight! I have to say though, it was a pretty terrifying experience. I had no medication and at one point when they cut your corneal flap, you go blind for about 10 seconds. Totally freaky. Luckily I didn't move my head when I freaked out cause I have awesome bodily controlling capabilities. Anyway, today I had my post op check up and everything looks good, I could read the last line of the eye chart! I have these bruises on my eye and that red streak, but the Dr. said that happens to some people and it takes a few weeks to go away. My eyes feel dry today, more so when I'm inside than outside. I feel like I'm in a dream state because I can see without any apparatus after 20 years! That's it for now, I don't want to stare at the computer for too long....
