Tuesday was a very nice day for us. Em started Art Camp today. It is only 4 days long and she is going with a friend. She will be studying sculpture, architecture and African dance. Each week they study 3 different types of art. She had a lot of fun. She was very excited about it and told us all about her day. I wish we could send her to the remaining weeks but it is quite expensive, Grandma ended up sending her this week! Em is quite the little artist, which is no surprise since the ladies on her dad's side are all so talented. After we dropped her off at 9am the rest of us went to the beach and met Grandma(who had yoga) and Katie (her BOYfriend wasn't there, yep you heard right it's official). The sun was very strong this morning in the bright blue sky so I ended up swimming a lot. Well, I don't know if you can call what I do swimming. It's more like going in up to my knees and dropping down real quick during a wave so as to soak my body. I'm terrified of the ocean if there are no other people around me for sharks to attack first. Plus, it was super low tide so I always feel closer to the sharks when the water is all the way out. Paige and Sophi were so lost without their "boss" giving them orders this morning that they said they just wanted to go home! Grandma had to start telling them what to do and then they were happy.
After the beach we went home to shower because I had to work at noon at St. Pauls. The girls came with me and had a great time playing with some friends that they hadn't seen since school let out in May. Grandma picked Em up at 2 from camp and took her back home. After work, around 6, we all went for a nice swim. The water was so warm and relaxing I could have stayed in there all night! Now it's off to watch some 24 since I got my DVD in the mail....what would this world do without Jack Bauer???
